March 7, 2004
Day 2 is now underway
at the 2004
Nokia Brier in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

In keeping with the
high caliber of play that is the tradition of the Brier we
have been treated to some great opening day games. Some of
the great match-ups we saw on day one were: Russ
Howard versus Mike Harris, and Randy
Ferbey versus Bruce
Korte. As the week continues we can expect to see other
great match-ups covered by TSN
Curling. For
a schedule of the televised games on TSN click here, but
if you are unable to view TSN you can get direct
access to the updated scores and standings right here.
Some excellent shot
making has taken place today as we have been treated to a
Quadruple Takeout for 3 by Marc Dacey from Nova Scotia, and
a beautiful Triple Takeout to lie two by Marc
Nichols from Newfoundland . We are sure to see more excellent
shot making during the rest of Day 2 and the remainder of
the Brier Week.
We will also be giving
away one copy of Analyzer
for Curling (Bonspiel Analyzing Software), a great software
package for curling clubs that is designed to help them manage
their tournaments and bonspiels.
