Why do TV commentators say, "The in-turn curls
more than the out-turn?"
Answer:
Thank you!
Your question is greatly appreciated and always welcomed.

We are sorry for the delay of this
but we were at the Brier all week. We wanted to make sure we did
get the answer from our pro. As usually Ray Turnbull has come
through.
The may reason they say that is because
of the release. It has nothing to do with Physics or the rotation
of the stone. What they mean is that the largest percentage of
curlers have a tendency to turn the inturn to much when they throw
the stone. So this will lead to the stone being started on the
curling path early.
Check out Ray's site it is quite
interesting.
